Hello! I’ve been blogging since the middle of 2007. I decided to put out another blog that covers one of my hobbies — photography. I wanted to create a place where I could display my snaps with additional thoughts I may have on the photo subject. Please comment if you are so inclined.
Thanks for spotting my photos of London tonight. Since you like cars, I thought you might find this one amusing. We do have some pretty big parking problems here!
hi,
thank you for your interest and for your comment.
i must say: nice cars you’ve got!
keep up the good work and please keep showing us more beauties like these.
Hi Paulie, how do you have the time to do all of this, it is incredible and I love the pic of your workspace. Now I have
a great new idea for you, We would love to see pictures of your grandchildren on your site. They have to be just adorable as their grandpartents. what do you think about doing that?
I will try to send you some of ours from shutterfly. That’s my outlet.
Hope to see you soon
Cheryl
Hey thanks for stopping by my blog! I love all the classics you have here, the sure don’t make them like that anymore. I shot at a car show once and loved it. There is a great group on flickr that really focuses on the details of these machines it’s called “Art of Classic Cars,” you should check it out!
Hey, I just wanted to mention the the car. I had a green and white ’57 Fairland convertible… wish I had it now… thanks for bringing back loads of great memories.
Those are great images and there’s a soft spot in my heart for Florida. Great composition and Ciba Chrome-like colors that just kick the door in. Very impressive and thanks for visiting the Trad.
Paul, I appreciate your dropping by The Sluice Box. I like the way your blog provides a real sense of place, in this case Florida. I’m looking forward to your future entries.
I love your pics! I love antique cars as well. I’ll be dropping by occasionally to see what you have posted. Thanks for stopping by my blog. And congrats on the ‘no smoking’. That is awesome! I wish I could quite eating so much.! Do they have a ‘chantix’ equivalent for that? 🙂
Thanks for sharing your photography. This evening i was searching some recent posts and came across some of your pictures. As i continued to look I saw what appears to be some HDR pictures – some really nice photos.
I recently have begun experimenting with HDR and enjoy how it brings out some of the highlights so we can express what we really saw when the picture was taken
thanks for sharing
Thanks for the great comment. Yes, there are some HDR shots in this blog. Lately though, I’ve been using Topaz Adjust for a lot of my work – it’s customizable and provides some really nice effects. Good luck!
First of all, congrats on the site, some great photos! Secondly, one of your photos of the interior of a Mustang (black-stang-conv-interior.jpg) took my eye and i’d like to use it in my documentary (for broadcast). Could you please send me your email/ phone contact so we can discuss this further?
Hi Paul,
I researched my family history and googled Otterberg, Lauerhof and came across the scanned old photos of 2 pictures of the Lauerhof and a soldier sitting there. I live in Georgia, USA since 87 and am just curious if you know more about the shots. My great grandmother on my father’s side came from the Lauerhof in Otterberg!
Hello. What camera do you use?

love is much stronger than anger…so too is truth stronger than fiction.
here’s a definition for you from dictionary.com
vod·ka(vŏd’kə)
n. An alcoholic liquor originally distilled from fermented wheat mash but now also made from a mash of rye, corn, or potatoes.

I stand corrected — but — if vodka is made from wheat or other grain, then it is truly grain alcohol. The best vodka is potato vodka.
