TR6 and Sharpness
You can take the word “sharp” to mean a lot of things. In this case I’m applying to the crispness of a very cool automobile… My love of TR6s is enhanced by this photo. For starters I love the color! I love the clean surface of green with the saddle interior and the snap of those red-line tires. Like a drive on a crisp autumn morning this TR6 has it all!
I did some playing with the sharpening tool in Adobe Elements – to the point where I think you could put your fingers into the tread of the tires.
Week’s Work
Over the past couple of weeks a took a couple hundred photos, but didn’t have much time to work with them, post-processing and so on. Next week proves to just as busy, I can’t seem to breath Monday thru Friday. Living for the weekends here! I’m in one of those situations where I can’t relax. I have a pile of books I want to read, but I can’t relax enough to read even five pages. I have three high-profile projects, and I have to keep my wits about me. I wish I could retire, but that’s just not in the cards right now.

Love Green
Saw a clutch of Model A’s corralled at a local buffet joint today. Took the opportunity to snap a few photos. I have a thing for green. I love green ties, but its difficult to get them to work correctly with average trad duds. I don’t like olive green, but I do love lime green, and Kelly green. Anyway, as you can see I got the green in this spare tire. Oh, I guess you can see my freekin’ bald head in this one too. Maybe I should paint it green!
Mid Century Models – Some great photography
Thought I’d pass along this gentlemen’s flickr site. I guess he build all of this and used model cars as well to show mid century living’s two biggest endeavors – homes and cars. Hope you like it.

Aston Martin DB 9
This little gem rumbled down Park Ave this afternoon at lunch just as I was getting my camera out of my bag – it slid down the street a bit so I had to keep an eye out so as to note the general area that it parked. Like Jaguar of the past, Aston Martin does it right – please don’t tell me someone bought them up!
ADG is in the market for a new ride – this might suit him well; It definitely goes with his blue linen Flusser jacket, tropical slacks, popped lime collar, and blue weejuns. And LFG along for a great ride with Dad. (photos swiped from http://maxminimus.blogspot.com/
I think it all goes very well!!!
Many of the shops on Park Ave were having sidewalk sales – Orvis/Downeast has 50-70% off of some inventory – but most items were $49.99 on the sidewalk
